Gassho! There comes a time at every Shorinji Kempo dojo when a picture depicts the humanity of the moment. Nicholas our 12 year old Black belt smiles loudly when he is teaching the white belt students to kick the red bag and Cheryl does the perfect kick. Nicholas words of excitement and encouragement immediately after the kick are perfectly timed “Yeah!!! You did it!!!!!”. The essence of Shorinji Kempo is to establish yourself and then help others!
