Gassho! ORANGE COUNTY SHORINJI KEMPO COMMUNITY SERVICE !!! On Saturday, March 10th, 2018, students and parents of Orange County Branch participated in a Community Clean-up event. The purpose of the event is to give back to the community we live in. 32 students and parents repaired locks, steam cleaned carpets, vacuumed, power washed, painted, picked up litter, changed lightbulbs etc. “Half for one’s own happiness, half for the happiness of others”. Please do not wait until you are 50 years old to serve the community. Always look for opportunities to help others, rather than pursuing something that only benefits you. This is one way to achieve mutual happiness, a way to live by helping others live, and be raised by raising others. Gassho!
